GRAND JUNCTION-BASED Provider Relations Specialist

Pinnacol Assurance seeks an experienced Provider Relations Specialist to work out of our Grand Junction office. Responsible for all aspects of managed care contracting including provider recruitment, pricing strategies, contract negotiation, administration, and implementation, with monitoring and management of direct provider contracts, facility contracts, and ancillary service contracts such as DME, home health care, and others. Requires strong business problem-solving skills, extensive  relationship building with internal customers in claims, medical payments, and other departments as well as external customers including providers, suppliers, regulators, and policyholders. Must be able to travel regionally in western Colorado. Colorado Drivers license and Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, insurance, or directly related field required.  Workers’ Compensation experience desirable.

Senior Claims Representative

Pinnacol Assurance is looking for an experienced Claims Representative.  3+ years of adjusting experience with direct exposure to workers’ compensation preferred.

Accounts Payable Clerk

Pinnacol Assurance has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk with 3 - 5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience, proficiency in Word and spreadsheets, and having the ability to understand interfaces between operating and financial systems.

Administrative Support

Pinnacol Assurance is seeking customer oriented support staff to provide administrative support to insurance team members. Working with underwriters, claims adjusters, nurses, loss prevention staff and others, you'll handle direct customer contact via phone along with other functions such as data processing, document distribution, and other administrative tasks. The position requires multi-talented individuals with strong PC/software skills, excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to type 35 wpm. Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus.
