Martin Bonato with parents Joe and Jeanette. Martin is majoring in engineering technology at Trinidad State Junior College. Joe permanently injured his spine in a fall while working at a service station in 2001.

Alex Post with mother Lesa. Alex plays soccer for Laramie Community College. Lesa suffered neck injuries in a car accident while working as a police officer. Despite years of physical therapy, she was unable to return to duty.

Reece Enderson from Fort Lupton tees off. Reece attends the University of Denver. His father had his foot amputated after a 7,000-pound roll of metal dropped on it at work. Growing up with his dad’s disability, Reece chose to major in mechanical engineering. He wants to someday develop ski equipment for disabled people.

Michelle Young with parents, Linda and Tom. Michelle attends University of Colorado at Denver. A firefighter, Tom was paralyzed from the neck down during a rescue call when Michelle was only 15 months old.
