The Pinnacol Foundation received $50,000 in seed money from Pinnacol Assurance in 2000. Since then, scholarships have been funded through the generous donations of insurance agents, attorneys, medical providers, Pinnacol Assurance policyholders and employees, and other friends. The Foundation’s biggest fundraiser is its annual golf tournament. Pinnacol continues to financially support the Foundation through monetary donations and administrative services.
