The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DOWC) released the results of the 2009 Claims Audit early this year. Pinnacol achieved an average score of 96 percent, putting us ahead of our competitors in overall claims management performance.
Of interest to our medical providers is that we scored 100 percent in the category of medical benefit payments, which means that we paid or contested bills in a timely manner.
