Pinnacol and SelectNet are pleased to welcome Dr. James Talmage and Dr. Robert Barth as guest speakers for the 2011 SelectNet Physician Conference – New Visions for Chronic Pain: Managing the Chronic Pain Patient – which will be held at the Mount Vernon Event Center in Golden, Colo., on Friday, Oct. 14.
The conference focuses on issues of pain, symptom presentation and treatment algorithms. Dr. Bart Goldman, an expert on pain management and chair of the committee for the Medical Treatment Guidelines for Chronic Pain, will discuss pain management and medical marijuana. Following the presentations, attorneys and physicians will discuss the perspectives of the medical and legal communities.

“Save the date” flyers have been sent to SelectNet primary care and specialist providers. Registration information for this year’s event will be sent out by Aug. 1, so watch your mail or contact your provider relations specialist for more information.
The SelectNet conference is free to invited SelectNet members. Accommodations are available at the Hampton Inn in Lakewood, at a group rate of $109 when using the group code PIN. More information will be included with the registration information. Attendance is limited to the first 200 who register.
