Clinic Performance Initiative Data Appeal Period Begins Aug. 1
Featured Story
July 2011
Pinnacol’s Clinic Performance Initiative (CPI) completed its first official reporting period on June 30. Following a one-month data compilation period, the CPI will start its first data appeal period on Aug. 1.
For those clinics participating in the CPI, you can expect to receive additional information regarding the program’s appeal period, via US mail and email, beginning in mid-July. These communications will list key dates and provide you with specific instructions related to how you can view finalized scores and submit appeals.
It’s important that you thoroughly review this material and be prepared to view your CPI scores beginning on Aug. 1. You will have 45 days from this date to appeal disputed data and request adjustments to your results. All appeal submissions must be received, or postmarked, by 5 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Following the completion of this formal appeal period, CPI performance results will be shared with parties outside of your organization and will also be used to determine any applicable performance rewards. CPI dashboard and directory data will not be changed once a reporting period’s appeal timeframe has expired and the finalized data has been shared with external parties.
Should you have any questions regarding the CPI or the upcoming data appeal period, please contact Pinnacol’s medical operations team at 303.361.4945 and speak to the provider relations specialist assigned to your geographic area of Colorado.
