CPI Data Review and Appeal Period Underway

For those clinics participating in the Clinic Performance Initiative (CPI), your first official reporting results are now available for review.

You will have until the close of business on Wednesday, Sept. 14, to appeal disputed data and request adjustments to your results. All appeal submissions must be received (postmarked) by 5 p.m. on this date.

It’s important that you thoroughly review your information prior to Sept.14. Once data is finalized, CPI performance results will be shared with parties outside of your organization and will also be used to determine any applicable performance rewards.

CPI dashboard and directory data will not be changed once a reporting period’s appeal timeframe has expired and the finalized data has been shared with external parties.

On several occasions throughout July, specific information regarding how to view and appeal finalized CPI scores was sent to participating clinics. If you did not receive this information, or if you have other questions regarding the CPI and its upcoming data release, please contact Pinnacol’s medical operations team at 303.361.4945 and speak to the provider relations specialist assigned to your contract.
