Pinnacol is pleased to announce that we have hired Edward J. Leary, M.D., to fill Pinnacol's medical director position.
Dr. Leary has had a long and successful career, most recently in the insurance industry. He has an established reputation of leadership and innovation in the managed care health arena. During his tenure at Humana, Dr. Leary developed clinical guidelines and chaired quality improvement, utilization, credentialing and provider affairs committees.
Dr. Leary began his career in the private practice of plastic and reconstructive surgery in Illinois. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
