This month, Pinnacol is distributing $70 million in general dividend checks to more than 50,000 employers in every county across the state. Ninety-five percent of our customers are eligible to receive a dividend, and the average check per customer is $1,319.
“In this challenging time, when Colorado businesses are facing financial hardship, we’re glad to be in a position to return some money to our policyholders,” said Phil Kalin, Pinnacol president and CEO. “Pinnacol is committed to providing the greatest possible customer experience while protecting businesses at the lowest possible cost. When we work together to create safe and healthy workplaces, costs decrease, which results in excess capital, which we return to our customers in the form of a general dividend.”
This is the fifth year in a row Pinnacol has issued a general dividend and lowered rates.
