Let's make this easy. Enrolling in electronic payments is fast and free.
By partnering with Optum Financial Services, we're able to offer electronic payments and statements (EPS) to our medical providers. So, instead of checks arriving in the mail, you're able to receive payments electronically, deposited directly into your preferred business account. You'll receive a payment notification via email one business day in advance, and you can view the amount of the payment and the corresponding ERAs online.
There's no fee for enrolling in or using EPS, and no special software or licensing is involved. All you need is a computer with Internet access.
Plus, it gives you online access to payment information for easy billing and payment reconciliation. Whether you submit claims electronically or on paper, you can still enjoy the benefits of EPS. And as always, Pinnacol Assurance pays medical providers in accordance with the fee schedule set forth by the Colorado Department of Workers' Compensation (DOWC).
Option 1: Go to the Optum Financial Services website and enroll online.
Option 2: Send an email request to and an enrollment form will be emailed to you. Complete the form and fax it to the number listed on the form. Once the completed form is received, a sign in ID and password will be sent to the email address provided by you on the registration form.
