Billing and claims

Pinnacol Assurance pays medical providers in accordance with the fee schedule set by the Colorado Department of Workers' Compensation (DOWC). Paying medical bills promptly and accurately is very important to us. In fact, while Colorado law allows us 30 days to process provider bills, we pay within 10 days on average, and with a financial accuracy rate of 99 percent.
