Division of Workers’ Comp recognizes Pinnacol for effective claims management

Pinnacol is proud to announce a successful audit by the Division of Workers’ Compensation (DOWC), with better results than ever before, scoring an average of 97 percent.

Pinnacol received scores ranging from 93 to 100 percent for each of the nine critical areas of the claims process. Areas include accurate and timely payment of compensation benefits to injured workers and timely payments to medical providers. All of this translates to better care for injured workers. High scores for timely reporting of claims are a reflection of your efforts in encouraging our mutual customers to report and file claims promptly.

In addition to illustrating our regulatory compliance and care for injured workers, this audit shows that Pinnacol continues to provide expert, efficient and effective claims management by resolving claims promptly, which saves our customers money.

Pinnacol received a certificate of recognition, the first of its kind, from the DOWC for these outstanding claims results.
