New tracking tool reveals insights to improve customer safety programs

At Pinnacol, we believe safety is a superpower, and those working toward a safer workplace are superheroes. We created a new, short-form tracker tool to help us understand a customer’s current safety program and how we can help them mature it.

Customers’ answers will reveal trends they may be experiencing and gaps specific to their business’s programs. We’ll use this data to consult with the customers and find the most productive ways to build and elevate their safety practices and superpowers.

Here’s what our customers can expect:

  1. Upon renewal, our customers will receive an email from their underwriter requesting that the recipient (or someone he or she designates to do so) complete the safety maturity tool survey within two weeks. We are only asking customers to answer up to 17 questions.
  2. Once the customer completes the safety maturity tool survey, the company’s assigned underwriter and safety consultant will receive a copy of the responses that were submitted.
  3. The responses will offer the underwriter and safety consultant a baseline for the customer’s safety program and will help the safety consultant customize services that work best for the company’s particular scenario.
