Seasoned corporate philanthropy and nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience driving impactful social responsibility initiatives. Demonstrated expertise in strategic program development, fundraising, grantmaking, community engagement, and business relations. Proven track record in nonprofit management, event planning, DEI, and emergency response. Possesses a B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado and a certification in Corporate Social Responsibility from the CU Leeds School of Business.

Currently leads corporate social responsibility programs and the Pinnacol Foundation at Pinnacol Assurance. Mara's leadership has earned Pinnacol Assurance four consecutive Civic 50 awards, and she was nominated for the Bill Daniels Ethical Leader of the Year award.
