DENVER — Nov. 7, 2023 — Pinnacol Assurance, Colorado’s largest workers’ compensation carrier, has been awarded four national 2023 Culture Excellence awards from Top Workplaces USA based on employee feedback.
2023 marked the seventh consecutive year Pinnacol has received a Top Workplaces honor, and the Culture Excellence awards are given to organizations within the U.S. that achieve top scores on employee sentiment related to employee well-being, employee appreciation, professional development and other topics. In recent years, the Denver Post has named Pinnacol the top large employer in the state and top employer for work/life balance.
Pinnacol received the following Culture Excellence awards:
- DE&I Practices (new award): This award celebrates organizations that are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive place to work, no matter one's background. This commitment is shared by all levels of the organization and is felt by employees.
- Employee Well-Being (repeat award; awarded to Pinnacol in 2021 and 2023): This award celebrates organizations that put the health and wellness of their employees at the center of their workplace culture.
- Employee Appreciation (new award): This award celebrates organizations that demonstrate gratefulness for the efforts of employees and that employees reciprocate by being motivated to give their best at work.
- Professional Development (repeat award; awarded to Pinnacol in 2021, 2022 and 2023): This award celebrates organizations that focus on developing their employees' careers and enable them to grow professionally.
