Inclusive claims service has our satisfaction rates soaring

Satisfaction rate hits 4.48 out of 5 among Colorado Spanish-speaking injured workers

DENVER – June 27, 2023 – Pinnacol Assurance, the state’s public-private workers’ compensation provider of last resort, is pleased to announce that according to state data, the company has achieved an  “injured worker” satisfaction rate among Spanish-speaking workers of 4.48 out of 5. Pinnacol prioritizes inclusive services for Spanish-language workers and has added various specialized support services for Spanish speakers in recent years, including a bilingual support claims support team for Spanish-speaking claims, as well as safety representatives and training.

Using this inclusive approach, not only are we able to fully understand details about the workers’ injuries and any medical treatment, but also we are able to better sense emotions and improve engagement with them in their preferred language.” 

For more than 107 years, Pinnacol Assurance has been the state’s partner and an ally for Colorado employers and injured workers. In addition to an injured worker satisfaction rate of 4.48 for Spanish-speaking workers, Pinnacol leads the top 5 other national workers’ compensation providers with an overall injured worker satisfaction rate of 4.2, setting a record.

In recently released survey results from the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation,  Pinnacol Assurance is again the highest-performing workers’ compensation carrier in the state, among major carriers. This is the eighth consecutive year Pinnacol took the top spot.
