Email signatures

Though it doesn’t come with a stamp, email should be considered the same as a good, old-fashioned letter that you send through the post office. In other words, be professional and friendly, helpful and informative. This isn’t the time to use smiley faces, a ton of exclamation marks or a colored background. However, it’s the perfect time to show off the very best of what Pinnacol has to offer - which is you. Let your personality shine through your workers' comp knowledge, your friendly tone and your willingness to find a solution or go that extra mile. Use the default Gmail font type and size for all of your written communications. It's that simple. Include Pinnacol’s corporate email signature. Directions are below to use our corporate signature.

For Gmail desktop:

  1. Open this Google doc and copy the email signature (Don't edit the font size, color or positioning of the text...that would be bad.)
  2. In Gmail, click on the settings gear icon on the top right and select "Settings".
  3. On the "General" tab, scroll down to the "Signature" and select "Create new".
  4. Add a signature name and paste the copied text from the Google doc into the signature text box.
  5. Edit the Name, Position, Phone number with your info.
  6. Set the signature defaults.
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the General Settings tab and click "Save Changes".
