The guidelines below help maintain consistency and provide general guidance when taking professional headshots. If you have any questions, please email askbrand@pinnacol.com.
Headshots are normally done in the media studio on the first floor, currently Kaizen conference room.
Do's:
1. Style your hair and make-up (if applicable) as you normally would.
2. Dress as you normally would for work. No need to dress at a higher level than your typical formality and there is no “dress code.”
3. Wear colors that flatter your skin tone. We suggest that you select dark solid colors that look good on you, instead of light or pastel colors, which may be too harsh under the lighting.
4. Bring an extra shirt or jacket if you’re not sure how it will look on camera. You can always do a quick-change and compare.
5. Be yourself! The goal is to capture your essence and consistency with our brand—think caring, modern, innovative, professional, approachable.
Don'ts:
1. Wear white, as it can appear too harsh, especially under the lights.
2. Wear large jewelry or many accessories. Let your face and eyes be the focal points in the photo.
3. Wear busy or distracting patterns. Patterned ties, if you choose to wear one, are okay.
