The latest enhancement to Pinnacol Assurance’s Injured Worker Portal makes it easier for injured workers to manage their mileage reimbursements.
Driven by feedback gathered through comprehensive injured worker research that included in-person interviews and surveys, we’ve enhanced the Injured Worker Portal online mileage reimbursement experience. With the new web-based process, injured workers can now:
- Submit requests for mileage at their convenience — available 24/7, in English or Spanish — and on their mobile phone.
- Record their trips to and from medical appointments and pharmacies
The feature on the portal populates addresses and logs mileage, calculates mileage and reimbursement totals, and advises users where they are in the process. While on the portal, injured workers can also check claims information and medical records.
