Emily King joined Pinnacol’s board of directors in 2023.
King serves as the Compliance and Marketing Manager at Fagerberg Produce, a Colorado-based supplier of fresh produce to retailers and foodservice providers locally and nationwide.
King is a Northern Colorado grower board member and Chair of the Labor Committee for the Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association. She is also a Western Growers Association Women’s Program Member, and a Produce Safety Rule Committee Member for the Colorado Department of Agriculture.
She brings hands-on experience from working in diverse agricultural operations. Her background in daily operational leadership informs her current responsibilities, where she oversees worker safety, regulatory compliance, and human resources, while ensuring the consistent production of high-quality food.
Deeply passionate about supporting the agricultural workforce and food system, King believes the industry’s greatest asset is the people who work tirelessly to feed the nation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University.
