Trademarks

These guidelines help maintain accuracy and consistency with written communication when using Pinnacol trademarks. Details on Pinnacol's current trademarked phrases can be found below.

USAGE GUIDELINES

Trademark symbols only need to be included with the first mention of the trademarked word or phrase on any particular piece of collateral. Subsequent uses of the trademarked word or phrase can simply use the correct capitalization. For example, after the registered trademark symbol is used with the first mention of SelectNet® on a flier, all other mentions of SelectNet on the flier do not need to include the registered trademark symbol.

How to write the ® and ™ symbols

Registered trademark symbol ®: On a PC, press and hold ALT then press 0, followed by 1, 7, 4. You will get ®. On a Mac, press R while holding the Option key (ALT).

Trademark symbol ™: On a PC, press and hold ALT+0153. On a Mac, hold the Option key and press 2.

Use the ®️ where the A design appears by itself as a trademark, such as when it is displayed in the header of the webpage. If it is being used as artwork, such as within a background, it is unnecessary to include the ®️.

Website usage: We want to provide public notice that the mark is registered. Therefore, there is no need to include the ®️ every single time the mark appears in the website. It just needs to be marked sufficiently to provide reasonable notice.
